KT Corp. announced Friday that it has forged a partnership with Nutanix Korea LLC to help business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) customers in South Korea transition more smoothly to cloud-based infrastructure and artificial intelligence environments.
Nutanix, a global IT company headquartered in Silicon Valley, operates in over 150 countries and provides Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions to more than 27,000 enterprise clients worldwide.
HCI simplifies cloud integration by unifying private servers and public cloud into a single platform, enhancing scalability and operational convenience.
Through this collaboration, KT and Nutanix Korea will co-develop services leveraging HCI, provide technical support to clients, and carry out joint marketing efforts.
One such initiative is KT’s Cloudline service, which integrates HCI with KT’s data solutions, including enterprise internet and leased lines.
Cloudline allows customers to access critical IT infrastructure—like security features, data backup, and server operations—on a monthly subscription basis without upfront costs.
KT’s expert teams will assist clients across system management, server operations, and cybersecurity.
The service targets organizations using on-premises systems or those facing aging IT infrastructure. It is designed to help businesses, public institutions, and local governments adopt cloud environments quickly and securely.
A parts manufacturer in the Seoul metropolitan area has already opted to use Cloudline to modernize its IT systems and migrate to an AI-enabled cloud platform.
Nutanix Korea expressed optimism about the collaboration, saying that it would support the modernization of IT infrastructure for domestic clients and facilitate a seamless transition to cloud environments that meet enterprise needs.
KT said the partnership has laid the foundation for client companies to adopt cloud-based IT infrastructure more efficiently and flexibly, adding that it plans to continue expanding AI transformation (AX) services in line with the rapidly evolving global business environment.
