Doosan Enerbility Co. announced Tuesday that it has signed a contract to supply core equipment for gas-fired combined cycle power plants in Saudi Arabia.
The deal, valued at approximately 340 billion won ($250 million), was secured through an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) joint venture.
Under the agreement, Doosan Enerbility will provide steam turbine and generator packages for the expansion of the Ghazlan 2 and Hajr power plants. Each site will receive two steam turbines and two generators.
Both plants, with a generation capacity of 2,900 megawatts each, are set to be built in phases through 2028.
