
CJ Olive Young announced on Tuesday that it will open its largest men’s specialty flagship store in Hongdae’s Hongik Culture Park area on Wednesday. The three-story, 915-square-meter store - known as the “Hongdae Playground Branch” - targets the vibrant, youthful crowd that frequents the Hongdae area.
With an eye on the growing demand from male consumers, the first floor features Olive Young’s largest men’s section to date, the “Men’s Edit.” The curated zone offers not only male grooming products such as shaving items but skin care brands that are popular with male customers such as Aestura and Fation as well. Health products, fashion accessories, and lifestyle goods round out the selection, making it a one-stop lifestyle shop.
The store also enhances interactive beauty experiences, including the “Eyelash Bar” where customers can try eyelash care products, and the “Skin Scan” service that analyzes individual skin types and conditions. For an even further personalized service, the “Men’s Solution” area helps customers curate products and styling tailored to their needs.
Olive Young said the second and third floors cater to a diverse range of customers, with the top floor focusing on products popular among international tourists such as face masks and snacks.
