Samsung Electronics Co. has extended the activation period for Galaxy S25 series pre-order customers until February 12th, 2025, due to overwhelming demand.

According to Samsung.com on Friday, the activation period was extended by five days from the original end date of February 7th to the 12th. Activation for pre-orders began on Tuesday, February 4th.

The extension follows the completion of pre-sale stock at several online and offline retailers, including Samsung’s official online store, and aims to minimize customer inconvenience.

“To accommodate customers unable to pre-order their desired model due to stock depletion at certain stores, we are extending the activation period,” Samsung.com stated.

The Galaxy S25 series set a new record for pre-sale sales in the Galaxy S series, with 1.3 million units sold from late January to early February 2025.
