Kim Nam-sun, head of strategic investment at South Korean internet giant Naver Corp., has been named the new CEO of Poshmark, a North American peer-to-peer resale platform.
The fashion resale marketplace announced Tuesday that its current CEO, Manish Chandra, will step down, with Kim set to take the helm in October.
Kim played a key role in Naver’s acquisition of Poshmark, which was completed in January 2023 for around 1.6 trillion won ($1.23 billion).
At the time, Kim was serving as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and led the negotiation process.
