Naver said on Wednesday thar it formed a strategic partnership with Uber Taxi, allowing Naver Plus membership users to enjoy Uber’s subscription-based service Uber One without additional fees.

Uber One is a paid membership program launched by Uber Taxi in Korea in early August 2025. Under the partnership, Naver Plus members can access the same benefits, including promotional discounts worth up to around 10,000 won ($7.1) for Uber Taxi rides.

Members can also earn up to 10 percent of ride fares back as Uber One credits without limits, which can be used toward future trips, and gain access to perks such as priority matching with highly rated drivers. Naver emphasized that these benefits will be applied as part of the broader “lifestyle perks” that are available to all Naver Plus membership users.

To activate the benefit, members need to select Uber in the “My Membership” menu and complete a one-time registration for Uber One in the Uber app. Once registered, they can conveniently access Uber-specific membership benefits for one year when using Uber services.

Naver said it has continued to expand user-centered benefits that connect online and offline platforms, enhancing the value felt by its members. The company added it will keep broadening partnerships with major global brands such as Netflix, Kurly, and Uber Taxi to strengthen customer loyalty as well as build a base of highly engaged subscribers.
