Kakao Pay Corp. announced Tuesday that it has launched a new generative AI-based chatbot channel Pay AI, which will offer a health-managing service as its first feature.

The service provides personalized health and insurance consultations based on users’ health data.

When users request an insurance review, the AI offers detailed insights into current coverage levels using the health information provided.

The company said it plans to enhance the service based on user feedback and expand Pay AI’s applications beyond financial services into broader lifestyle domains.

Kakao Pay said it aims to deliver a more innovative financial platform experience by integrating AI into users’ everyday routines.
