Hankook Tire & Technology announced on Wednesday that it will serve as the exclusive tire supplier for the fourth round of the 2025 World Rally Championship (WRC), the Islas Canarias Rally, organized by the Fédération Internationale de l‘Automobile (FIA).

The rally, taking place from April 24th to 27th, 2025, in Spain’s Canary Islands, will be the first full-tarmac event of the season, with all stages taking place on asphalt roads. Covering a total distance of 301.3 kilometers, the race comprises 18 special stages.

Hankook Tire will supply its Ventus Z215 and Ventus Z210 racing tires for the event. The Z215 is optimized for dry roads, delivering excellent cornering and handling performance, while the Z210 is designed for wet and adverse conditions, offering strong grip and drainage capabilities.

Hankook Tire has worked closely with the FIA and major manufacturers since 2023, conducting over 2,000 kilometers of full-vehicle testing across eight countries. “We have developed FIA-certified high-performance tires that demonstrate optimal performance even in extreme conditions,” the company said, adding that its exclusive supply aims to reinforce its status as a premium brand in the global motorsport market.
