South Korean instant noodle manufacturer Nongshim opened its second global Shin Ramyun Bunsik outlet, and the first in Asia, in Tokyo’s Harajuku, the company said on Monday.

Following its debut in Peru near Machu Picchu, Nongshim is expanding its brand footprint by bringing a consumer experience space to the bustling Takeshita Street in Harajuku. The outlet aims to attract both local Japanese youth and foreign tourists, offering a unique culinary experience with a local twist.

At the Tokyo Shin Ramyun Bunsik, customers can enjoy a range of instant noodles, including Shin Ramyun and Shin Ramyun Toomba as well as Jjapaghetti. Customers can cook the noodles themselves using convenient in-store devices.

Nongshim said it hopes to strengthen its connection with global consumers by expanding to popular youth hangouts and international tourist hotspots.
