South Korea’s Korea Investment & Securities Co. (KIS) announced on Wednesday that it successfully held its global investor relations (IR) event, “KIS Night in New York 2025,” in New York, the United States, during the previous day (local time).
The event, independently hosted by the Seoul-based brokerage for the second consecutive year in the U.S. financial capital, drew approximately 150 executives and key figures from major global investment institutions including Goldman Sachs, the Carlyle Group, and Stifel Financial Corp., as the company aims to strengthen its ties with the local financial industry and explore new opportunities for collaboration and investment.
“We are evolving into a leading comprehensive investment firm in Asia thanks to our close collaboration with global financial partners,” Korea Investment & Securities Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kim Sung-hwan said in his welcome speech. “We look forward to building more diverse collaborative relationships and creating new synergies through this year’s KIS Night.”
Carlyle Group CEO Harvey M. Schwartz, who delivered a congratulatory speech at the event, noted that “Korea Investment & Securities is not just an excellent partner; it is an organization committed to excellence and performance.”
“It is a great privilege to be part of its remarkable growth journey,” he added.
Korea Investment & Securities has steadily expanded its presence in advanced financial markets via strategic alliances with global financial institutions. It set up SF Credit Partners, a joint venture with U.S. independent investment bank Stifel Financial, in 2023 for acquisition finance and private debt businesses in the United States. The company is also strengthening its wealth management capabilities by collaborating with top-tier global asset managers such as Goldman Sachs and Carlyle to provide high-quality investment products to Korean investors.
