
Samsung Electronics Co. announced on Thursday the opening of pre-orders for its latest Galaxy S25 series that was unveiled at its Unpacked event on Wednesday.
Following the commencement of pre-orders, Korean mobile carriers shared their subsidy plans.
SK telecom Co. has announced subsidies ranging from 80,000 won ($55.7) to 245,000 won for the Galaxy S25 series.
With additional support from SK telecom, the subsidies to be offered by the mobile carrier reach between 92,000 and 281,750 won, the most competitive among the three major carriers.
KT Corp. is offering a subsidy of between 60,000 won and 240,000 won depending on the mobile plan. LG UPlus Corp. has set its subsidies at between 52,000 won and 230,000 won.
Galaxy S25 starts at 1.16 million won, while S25 Plus begins at 1.35 million won. The S25 Ultra is priced at about 1.7 million won.
